When you purchase a flight through Trestavia Travels, your ticket is governed by the fare rules set by the issuing airline — not by Trestavia Travels. These rules vary significantly by fare class, airline, route, and booking class.
Before completing your booking, the applicable fare rules (refundability, changeability, fees) will be presented to you on the checkout page. By completing payment, you acknowledge and accept those fare rules.
If your ticket is purchased under a refundable fare (typically full-fare economy, business class, or first class), you may be eligible for a refund of the base airfare and taxes, minus any airline-imposed cancellation or processing fees.
Our service fee is non-refundable even for refundable tickets.
Refund requests must be submitted before the departure of the first flight segment. No refunds are available for tickets presented after departure.
Most discounted economy tickets are sold as non-refundable. If you cancel a non-refundable ticket, you will not receive a refund of the airfare or taxes. In some cases, the airline may offer a travel credit for future use, subject to an airline change fee. Credit validity and conditions vary by airline.

If an airline cancels your flight or makes a significant schedule change (typically defined as more than 2 hours difference from the original departure time), you are generally entitled to:

If a passenger does not board the first flight segment without canceling in advance, the entire booking (including return flights) may be automatically canceled by the airline. No refunds are available for no-shows, regardless of fare type. Contact us immediately if you miss or anticipate missing a flight.

We check the airline's specific fare conditions for your ticket — refundability, change fees, and deadlines.
For eligible tickets, we submit the cancellation or change request directly to the airline on your behalf.
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. Allow 7–21 business days for funds to appear. Trestavia Travels will confirm the refund submission in writing once the airline processes it.

We ask that customers contact us directly before initiating a chargeback with their card issuer. We resolve most issues quickly and without dispute. Frivolous chargebacks on non-refundable tickets may result in suspension of booking privileges.
