People Information LLC, operating as Trestavia Travels (“Trestavia,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on trestavia.com(the “Site”). This Cookie Policy explains what these technologies are, why we use them, what specific cookies are active on our Site, and how you can control them.
When you first visit the Site, a cookie consent banner allows you to accept or decline non-essential cookies by category. You can update your preferences at any time — see Section 5 for instructions.
This Cookie Policy should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which provides full details on how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
Cookies are small text files placed on your device (computer, phone, or tablet) by websites you visit. They are widely used to make sites work correctly, remember your preferences, and provide analytics data to site owners.
Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain on your device for a set period or until you delete them.
In addition to cookies, we may use pixel tags (also known as web beacons or clear GIFs) — tiny invisible images embedded in pages or emails that signal when a page has been loaded or an email has been opened. We also use browser local storage and session storage — see Section 6.
Cookies are either first-party (set by trestavia.com directly) or third-party(set by a service we use, such as Google or NMI). First-party cookies are under our full control; third-party cookies are governed by those providers’ own privacy policies.
We categorize cookies by their purpose. The table below shows each category, what it does, how long it lasts, and whether you can disable it.
| Category | Purpose | Duration | Can Opt Out? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Strictly Necessary | Required for the Site to function. Manages your session, secures the booking flow, and prevents cross-site request forgery. Cannot be disabled without breaking core functionality. | Session / up to 1 year | No |
| Security | Set by Cloudflare (our CDN and DDoS protection provider) to identify trusted traffic and prevent bot attacks. These are essential for site security. | Session / 30 minutes | No |
| Functional / Preference | Remember your search preferences (trip type, cabin class, passenger count). Also stores your cookie consent decision so you are not asked again on subsequent visits. | 30 days | Yes |
| Analytics | Google Analytics (GA4) collects anonymized, aggregated data about pages visited, time on site, and navigation flows — helping us improve the Site. IP anonymization is enabled. No personally identifiable information is collected. | Up to 2 years | Yes |
| Advertising / Conversion | Google Ads conversion tracking records completed bookings after an ad click — using anonymized, aggregated data. Google Ads remarketing may display Trestavia ads to prior visitors on other websites. These cookies never contain personal information and are never used to raise or adjust flight prices. | 90 days | Yes |
| Performance | Measures page load times and records technical errors to help us deliver a faster, more reliable Site. | Up to 1 year | Yes |
| Payment (NMI) | Used by NMI (Network Merchants Inc.) to securely tokenize and process payment card transactions. Required for checkout to function. NMI is PCI-DSS Level 1 certified. | Session | No |

We do not use cookies from Facebook, TikTok, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, or any other social media platforms. No cookie is ever used to inflate or dynamically adjust flight prices based on your browsing or search history. All fares are fetched live from airline inventory at the time of each search.
Our Site implements Google Consent Mode v2. This means that Google tag behavior automatically adjusts based on your cookie consent choices:
Declining any or all non-essential cookies has no effect on your ability to search for flights, complete a booking, or access any feature of the Site. Essential, security, and payment cookies remain active regardless of your choice.
You may update your cookie consent choices at any time by clearing the trestavia_cookie_consentitem from your browser’s local storage and reloading the page — the consent banner will reappear. You can also use your browser’s built-in cookie management tools listed below.
In addition to cookies, we use browser-side storage technologies for the following limited purposes:
trestavia_cookie_consent in local storage so you are not shown the consent banner on every visit. This preference is never shared with any third party. To reset your consent preference, clear your browser’s local storage for trestavia.com. Instructions are available in the browser settings links listed in Section 5.
The California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA) requires websites to disclose how they respond to browser “Do Not Track” (DNT) signals. Our response:
trestavia.com does not currently alter its data collection or use practices in response to DNT browser signals. This is because no universally accepted technical standard for interpreting DNT signals exists at this time. We continue to monitor developments in this area and will update this policy if our practices change.
In the meantime, you can use the opt-out tools in Section 5 to control advertising-related tracking independently of your browser’s DNT setting.
We do not sell or share personal information collected via cookies for cross-context behavioral advertising. California residents have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), including the right to:
To submit a CCPA/CPRA request, email support@trestavia.com or call +1-800-779-8593. See our Privacy Policy §13 for the complete CCPA rights disclosure.

These laws generally provide rights to access, delete, correct, and opt out of targeted advertising using personal data. To exercise rights under any applicable state law, contact us at support@trestavia.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by your state’s law.
We may update this Cookie Policy at any time by posting a revised version with an updated “Last updated” date. If changes are material — such as adding new cookie categories or third-party providers — we will provide notice via the Site’s cookie consent banner or, where required, by direct notification.
